The New Foundation Seattle is a philanthropic and cultural organization dedicated to supporting contemporary artists. Our mission is to encourage the production of contemporary visual art through dynamic initiatives that stimulate artistic development, research, and presentation.

The New Foundation Seattle issues grants to organizations and individuals through our Funding Program. The program endeavors to build a strong contemporary art community by ensuring artists, curators, and arts writers of all levels have access to educational resources that can expand their practices. 

The Foundation accepts institutional grant proposals by invitation. Our CIF grant is open call. Seattle and Portland residents may apply for CIF.
